ABOUT  ME

My name is Carol Redmond. I qualified as a Life and Business Coach after taking voluntary redundancy from a twenty-one year career in the financial services. As part of studying for my diploma I was 'life-coached' myself, therefore I have first-hand experience of its success.

Not only had I made a huge decision to leave the relative comfort of a job I had worked in for years, I also went through other life-changing events. With the ending of a working career, a marriage breakdown, divorce, single parenting, house moves and the death of both my parents three years apart, I needed support. This support I later found in Life Coaching.

Once I had addressed these seismic upheavals in my life, and felt grounded enough to embark on studying for my diploma, I benefited from the practical tools Life Coaching gave me to start taking charge of my life instead of just drifting aimlessly.

Going through the Life Coaching process recalibrated me as I felt lost following these major changes and had become caught up in just getting through each day, disconnected from who I used to be, out of balance. It made me aware of the need to use my resources, to appreciate my great family and friends, and the necessity to look after myself first, so I could then manage everything else in my life.

It also reconnected me to my true resilient self, empowering me to clear my head and carry on to live a better life - not just existing - culminating in successfully rearing my family, navigating through a few wrong turns work-wise to now, doing what I really want to do, which is support others through the Life Coaching process.

I trained in the Co-Active Coaching method* and was awarded my diploma by the Coach Institute of Ireland. I conduct one-to-one Life Coaching sessions in Greystones, Co. Wicklow and workshops with no more than 10 participants.

Because of my personal experiences and the wonderful training I got in the Co-Active Coaching Method, I have successfully worked with a number of clients developing techniques and coping strategies resulting in them being more effective, less stressed, organised and content, and they have never looked back.
I am deeply committed to my work using this wonderful process. If you would like to try it out for yourself, contact me to set up your first intake Life Coaching session.

What is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is the positive, dynamic, forward-moving process of supporting clients who want to change and grow, who want to restructure and improve their lives, who want to navigate successfully through lifes many pivotal transitions, who want to be more effective and productive in their lives.

People engage in the process of Life Coaching to find work/life balance, contentment, happiness, a heightened sense of well being, fulfilment and purpose in their lives.

Life coaching works in reconnecting the client back to their true selves through self-awareness, fostering resilience and enpowering capabilities often forgotten about as life goes on.

Once aware of what is working and what is not working in the clients life through listening and exploring their current lives, the Life Coach then helps the client make agreed, realistic and timed goals to help make any changes required.

The client will become proficient in making the choices and decisions in their lives based on the values and principles that serve them best. Change is embraced and, through strategies and techniques learned during the coaching process, acted upon rather than feared.

Old, bad habits are unlearned, making way for new, good habits to be formed which will last a lifetime.
